#5 Stopping the run in the first quarter
The Las Vegas Raiders defense seems to get better week after week. That was proven in the first quarter of Sunday’s game. Between stopping two run plays and doing a pretty good job of pressuring the quarterback, you have to wonder if this is the kind of defense that will show up from now on.
Justin Herbert completed a few good passes on the defense during the drive, but they seemingly got annihilated when it came to the run game. Hopefully, that is a trend that continues for the Raiders as time goes on, but don’t count on it.
